There are a staggering three radar units, 12 sensors and five cameras around the car monitoring the environment. Some of these sit in the Polestar’s SmartZone, located where the traditional grille would be.
You get systems such as blind spot monitoring, run-off road mitigation, parking sensors, cross-traffic alerts, plus much more. Adaptive cruise control also makes motorway driving effortless.
The car is designed to reduce the risk of significant injury to drivers and passengers in the event of a collision. The battery is also protected and automatically shuts off if an incident occurs. Infotainment
